Manchester United trio Harry Maguire, Luke Shaw and Marcus Rashford are planning to persuade England team-mate Harry Kane to join the Red Devils at Euro 2020 this summer.
Kane has openly admitted he would be prepared to leave Tottenham at the end of the season in order to boost his chances of winning major silverware.
United are reportedly interested in bringing him to Old Trafford, although they are expected to face competition from Manchester City and Chelsea.
According to The Sun, United's England trio Maguire, Shaw and Rashford will use their friendship with Kane to urge him to join them this summer.
Three Lions boss Gareth Southgate is set to name his Euro 2020 squad on Tuesday, with selected players potentially spending up to six weeks together at the tournament.
Maguire, Shaw and Rashford will therefore have enough time to convince the England captain that his future would be best served at Old Trafford.
A source is quoted as saying: “All the [United] players have been discussing Harry leaving Spurs. The English players plan to work on him when they meet up.
“They know how good he is and though he would present competition to someone like Marcus, they are excited at the thought of playing with him."
Kane recently opened up on his desire to leave Spurs in an interview with United legend Gary Neville, admitting he is planning to hold crunch talks with chairman Daniel Levy.
"For sure, it's a moment in my career where I have to kind of reflect and see where I'm at and have a good, honest conversation with the chairman," he said.
