Man Utd reveal Premier League record annual revenue but still make loss
Manchester United may have to fork out to get their hands on Galatasaray right-back Sacha Boey. The Frenchman is contracted to the Turkish giants until the summer of 2025 but looks set to head for the Rams Park exit next year as a whole host of teams chase his signature.
Boey joined Galatasaray from Rennes in 2021 and has gone on to appear 71 times for the club. He helped his team win the Turkish league title last season and played the full 90 minutes when Galatasaray stunned the Red Devils in the Champions League at the start of October.
According to Turkish outlet Haberler, United sent scouts to watch the defender in action against Besiktas following his performance at Old Trafford. But the north west team face competition from Arsenal in the transfer market, with both Premier League clubs said to be very eager to land the 23-year-old.
And Turkish publication Sporx have reported that it is likely the player will leave Rams Park next summer for a high fee, with Brighton and Burnley also monitoring the ace.

Boey has bagged three goals and four assists during his time at Galatasaray and got his name on the scoresheet when his team drew 2-2 with Copenhagen in their Champions League opener in September. Galatasaray’s early promise in Europe has seen them rise to second in the Group A table, one point ahead of the Red Devils.
And with Bayern Munich storming to the top of the group after winning their first three matches, the Turkish club could battle it out with United for a place in the knockout stages.
Boey is yet to be capped by France but was unfortunate to miss out on a place in his county’s squad for their Euro 2024 qualifier against the Netherlands in October. And when France boss Didier Deschamps was asked about the player’s exclusion, he told reporters: “There are other players that we are tracking in this position (right-back), clearly.

“But there is competition and I have to consider what is best for the national team, even if it’s a position where there aren’t a lot of concrete options at the top level. But the door is always open to more solutions.”
United boss Erik ten Hag may want to move quickly on a move for Boey to ensure he doesn’t miss out on the ace. The Red Devils defence is in desperate need of reinforcements after already shipping 16 goals in the Premier League and seven goals in the Champions League this campaign.
