Mauricio Pochettino spotted at the Emirates with Arsenal legend Ian Wright

Arsenal legend Ian Wright was snapped hanging out wth former Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino at the Emirates.

Arsenal’s U23s suffered a 4-2 defeat to Manchester City’s U23s on Monday night and there were some famous faces in attendance to watch the youngsters in action.

Wright took to Instagram to post a picture of himself with Pochettino and Steve Bould.

Pochettino is very much a man with time on his hands following his sacking by Tottenham back in November.

The Argentine has been linked with a return to management with Manchester United long-term admirers.

But with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer steadying the ship, Pochettino may have to wait until the summer before Old Trafford bosses even consider a change at the helm.

Leroy Sane was the biggest name taking part in City’s 4-2 win as he played 57 minutes in the win.

It was the German’s first appearance since suffering a knee injury in our Community Shield win over Liverpool six months ago.

“It felt really good,” he said after the game.

“It was good to get a general feeling of how it is to be back on the pitch and how quick it can all be.

“There’s still a gap until I’m 100% and on the level I was before. There’s no doubt about that, but generally, everything feels good.

“I feel confident and I had no problems, so I am happy with today.

“Of course it would be good if I could get back as soon as possible to the best I can be, like I was before. But I’m not putting a lot of pressure on myself to do that.

“I have to get used to the tempo and how quick it is because if you’re out for the time I was, you have to get up to speed.”
