New signing has team-mates in stitches with brilliant Gangnam Style initiation

Napoli signing Kim Min-Jae has left his new team-mates in stitches with a brilliant Gangnam Style initiation song in pre-season.

Min-Jae, 25, completed the traditional club ritual after sealing a £16.25million switch from Super Lig giants Fenerbahce, opting to perform a track by fellow countryman PSY – who topped the charts in 32 different countries with his 2012 hit Gangnam Style.

After penning an initial three-year deal on Wednesday (July 27), with a two-party option to extend the contract by a further two years, the South Korea international was quick on to feet to fulfil the new signing custom, leaving his Gli Azzurri team-mates bursting with laughter.

Choosing the same No1 hit that had every teenager mimicking Psy's questionable dance moves in the early 2010s, Min-Jae mocked up an accurate reflection in front of his new team-mates, who all seemed the greatly enjoy the interactive one-man show.

The South Korean received a raft of applause following his minute-long performance and it also went down a storm on social media. "One who looks like this cannot fail to be the strongest defender in the world," joked one supporter.

"South Korean signing Kim with a solid rendition of Gangnam style in front of his new Napoli teammates," commented a second. "We searched for a Koulibaly replacement and signed a Koulibaly upgrade. What a legend already," posted a third.

Min-Jae is expected to replace Kalidou Koulibaly in the Napoli back-line after the Senegal captain joined Chelsea for £33million earlier in the transfer window.
