A petition to permanently ban racist fans from all football matches in England has passed one million signatures.

The plea comes after Marcus Rashford, Bukayo Saka and Jadon Sancho received shocking racist abuse on social media in the wake of England's Euro 2020 final defeat to Italy.

It calls for the Football Association and the government to come together to "ban all those who have carried out racist abuse, online or offline, from all football matches in England for life."

Football fans Shaista Aziz, Amna Abdullatif and Huda Jawad created the petition on Monday and have received the backing of over 1million people in just over 24 hours.
