Paul Pogba is finally delivering at Manchester United.
The France midfielder has spent much of his career at the club performing inconsistently.
At times he would look the World Cup winner he is and at others he would cut a lost figure.
But in the past few weeks Pogba has stepped up and delivered consistently. The 27-year-old has taken the burden off the over-performing Bruno Fernandes to finally contribute himself.
And a stunning long-range effort against Fulham on Wednesday night was his latest show of quality. Pogba cut in from the right before rifling the ball into the back of the net from range with his weaker foot.
The goal sealed the win for United and it was at full-time when Pogba's reaction spoke volumes.
Pogba clenched his fists, bowed his head and pumped a few times. It was clear to see this win meant so much to him.
After Mino Raiola recently announced Pogba would move on from United and is unhappy at the club, fans might have questioned his investment and dedication to the club.
But the images at full-time show he is 100 per cent in.
"It's a big win because it was a hard game," said Pogba. "Very difficult, against this team that don't give up. They are very compact behind.
"We conceded goal first half and after we knew it would be hard. We had to come back.
"We needed this win and got it the hard way."
It may have meant especially more to Pogba after he spurned a glorious chance against Liverpool on Sunday.
After the goalless draw at Anfield reports emerged of a furious Pogba apologising to his team-mates.
"It's not like I apologised but I was really mad, really mad," Pogba cleared up on BT Sport. "Really close to a goal and I should have done better.
"Today went in and really happy for that. Important – and we had a hard win. We knew it would be like this. We done it the hard way and the beautiful way."
Even if he leaves in the summer it's clear to see Pogba will give his all at United until the very last second.
And with United currently top of the Premier League Pogba has a real chance to accomplish something special at at Old Trafford before departing.
