Graeme Souness has reluctantly admitted that England are his Euro 2020 winners this year.
It comes after their famous win over Germany at Wembley on Tuesday where they beat their old rival 2-0.
Goals from Raheem Sterling and Harry Kane saw the Three Lions through to the next round of the competition, where they will take on Ukraine at the Stadio Olimpico in Italy this Saturday.
With Czech Republic shocking the Netherlands, the 'big hitters' on England's side of the tournament tree have all been knocked out.
It means the winner of this weekend's match will face either Denmark or the Czech Republic for a spot in the final – which will be played at Wembley.
And ITV pundit Souness has admitted through gritted teeth the "stars are aligning" for England this summer.
He said in the studio on Friday night: "I've got to be difficult with my words here because I've said this before… England and English football has been very good to me.
"I think they’re going to win it. I think the stars have aligned beautifully.
"Seven games, six of them at home.
"You can look at this one coming up against Ukraine – [they are] obvious favourites, that doesn't mean to say they're going to get through, though I think they will.
"The next game is against Denmark [if they beat Czech Republic], not an easy game, the Dane's are always big, physical and aggressive.
"Then the final, no matter who they play, at Wembley, with the majority of the crowd, I see them winning it.
"I've been critical of their style of play, it certainly doesn't get me on the edge of my seat, but it's pragmatic and it gets results.
"If they end up winning the tournament, no-one's going to end up talking about their style of football."
