The battle of the pundits as BBC and ITV fight for Euro 2020 ratings supremacy

Euro 2020 coverage in the UK will be shared between the BBC and ITV this summer, with the two broadcasters going head to head for ratings supremacy at the major tournament.

Only the final will be shown by both broadcasters, meaning they are set to split all other fixtures.

The two platforms have revealed their list of pundits, presenters, commentators and co-commentators for the delayed showpiece, which gets underway on Friday night when Italy take on Turkey.

Both lists include a host of former international players and managers, from England legend Gary Neville to Spain maestro Cesc Fabregas.

But which is better?

Charlie Adam

Nathan Blake

James Collins

Robbie Savage

Verdict: The BBC have come up trumps with their lineup for this year's tournament, with the late additions of Chelsea greats Lampard and Cech capping a formidable punditry team. The presenting duo of Lineker and Logan will be hard for ITV to better. The commentary selection, with Mowbray the only real stellar name, is perhaps their only downfall. RATING: 8/10

Ally McCoist

Verdict: While Pougatch and co are inferior to the BBC's presenting panel, ITV's punditry and commentary lineup certainly make up for it. Securing arch-rivals Keane and Vieira is a major triumph, along with an analyst widely considered the best in the country in Neville. Tyldesley is the creme de la creme when it comes to commentary, while McCoist is a great choice on the co team. RATING: 9/10
