Paris Saint-Germain star Neymar has been ruled out until after the November international break after sustaining an adductor injury.
The Brazilian attacker received treatment on the injury during PSG’s 2-0 victory over Istanbul Basaksehir in the Champions League and had to leave the pitch with the game still goalless.
On-loan striker Moise Kean eventually bagged a brace for Thomas Tuchel’s side, with the manager revealing that Neymar will now have to spend time on the sidelines.

PSG boss Thomas Tuchel confirmed the extent of the Brazilian’s injury after win vs Istanbul
‘We’re sad,’ the coach said. ‘He’s got a small injury to his adductor.
‘He’ll be back after the break. I don’t think he can play for Brazil. The information that we have is that he’ll be back after the break.’
PSG will have to play three matches without one of their leading talents, with two Ligue 1 matches against Nantes and Rennes, but most notably, a Champions League group match against RB Leipzig.
The French champions are hoping that Neymar will be ready to return to action for their league match against Monaco on November 20.

Tuchel did insist that the injury is not severe but it was the right decision to bring him off the pitch against the Turkish side.
‘It was necessary to take him off,’ he told RMC Sport. ‘We now have to wait for a diagnosis. It was not serious pain, but he felt uncomfortable. Because of the tight schedule, it might cost him a few games, though I cannot be sure at this point.’
Neymar has endured a frustrating campaign so far, having already missed two matches due to testing positive for coronavirus.
