Manchester United star Bruno Fernandes knows he could have to replace Paul Pogba at Old Trafford, reports say. Pogba is a Juventus and Real Madrid transfer target ahead of the summer window, with the France international still eager to leave the club behind.
Manchester United star Pogba tried to secure a move away from the club during the summer transfer window.
However, he ended up staying at Old Trafford after Ole Gunnar Solskjaer convinced him to give another 12 months of service.
Pogba’s time at United may be up this summer, with many expecting the 26-year-old to quit amid interest from Juventus and Real Madrid.
And Goal claim that Fernandes, who joined during the January transfer window, is aware he may end up having to replace the midfielder.
The Portugal international signed from Sporting last month in a huge £46million deal.
Injury to Pogba has prevented Fernandes from playing with the France international at Old Trafford so far.

And it appears their time as team-mates may only last until the summer, when the transfer window reopens.
Fernandes has impressed throughout his time at Old Trafford so far.
He had a solid debut outing against Wolves, posing the biggest threat during a drab goalless draw.
Fernandes then caught the eye as United beat Chelsea 2-0 at Stamford Bridge on Monday night.
And the 25-year-old was also the standout performer in the Red Devils’ 1-1 Europa League draw with Club Brugge – despite being on the pitch for nine minutes.

Man Utd owner Glazer may stop Solskjaer getting rid of struggling star
Pogba, when fit, shoulders much of the attacking burden.
But Fernandes is reportedly aware that that same load may fall on his shoulders if Pogba leaves the club this summer.
Meanwhile, speaking before United’s Premier League clash with Watford, Solskjaer hailed Fernandes for the impact he’s made.
“He’s another conductor, a leader and winner,” he said.
“He wants to win, He doesn’t take 99 per cent as good enough and he’s impressed me.
“That’s something you see when you watch him but you don’t really know about until you have him in your group. He’s been absolutely top class.
“He reminds me of Scholesy as a player but definitely a different type of personality off the pitch.”
Solskjaer also praised Fernandes for his reaction to being benched for the Brugge game, adding: “[On Thursday] when he’s on the bench, he walks around, he speaks to the players who start, he helps them, he gives them points.
“I’ve been very impressed by him. And the 10 minutes he played you could say that there’s a difference in our team.”
