Phillips could be playing Premier League football with Leeds next season – if Marcelo Bielsa continues to keep his side on track.
After a dismal run of results last month, Leeds have now won their last two.
They secured a hard-fought 1-0 win over Reading at Elland Road on Saturday.
Phillips limped off in the first half with a calf complaint.
"It was a similar match to what we are used to playing,” Bielsa said in the aftermath.
