Johanna Konta has broken her silence after having to withdraw from the 2021 Wimbledon Championships.

“Hey everyone, as you may be aware, a member of my team tested positive for COVID-19 yesterday and as a result, I won’t be competing at this year’s Championships,” she said.

“I would like to thank everyone for their kind messages and continued support and I look forward to seeing you all on court again soon.”
