Nick Kyrgios has admitted that the ongoing GOAT debate “doesn’t end” after receiving a hilarious message from his Uber Eats driver. The world No 97 has been completing his required quarantine after returning home to Australia from playing the Laver Cup, and was asked for his verdict on whether Novak Djokovic or Roger Federer was the greatest when ordering food while in isolation.

Djokovic, Federer and Nadal have long been the centre of an ongoing GOAT debate for several years.

The Big Three are all currently tied on 20 Grand Slams each, though the Serb had an opportunity to pull away just last month and reach a milestone that would leave it hard not to declare him the sport’s greatest male player.

The world No 1 was vying to become the first man in 52 years to complete the Calendar Grand Slam, and pick up a record 21st Major title in the process, when he arrived in Flushing Meadows less than two months ago.

Djokovic was the heavy favourite to win the US Open, having already picked up titles at the Australian Open, Roland Garros and Wimbledon.

He was also the only member of the Big Three present in New York for a second successive year, after Federer and Nadal ended their seasons early while battling with their respective ongoing injuries.

However, the 34-year-old fell at the final hurdle as he suffered a straight-sets defeat to Daniil Medvedev in the championship match, and was left tied with his long-time rivals on a record 20 Grand Slam titles for a male singles player.

With the Big Three neck-and-neck in the race to win the most Major titles, fans and pundits alike have found themselves unable to agree on who is the undisputed greatest male player of all time.

It seems some are turning to fellow pro players to get the verdict of those who face the Big Three each season, as one Uber Eats driver hilariously took his opportunity to ask former world No 13 Kyrgios who he thought the GOAT was.

The often-controversial Aussie has been completing his mandatory hotel quarantine after ending his season at the conclusion of the Laver Cup and returning home to Canberra.

And during his quarantine period, things took an amusing turn for Kyrgios , as he shared a hilarious screenshot showing his Uber Eats driver taking the chance to ask the six-time title winner to weigh in on the GOAT debate.

After telling his delivery driver that he couldn’t ‘leave his room’, the unnamed man took his chance.

“No worries,” the driver wrote.

He then followed up with a seperate message, adding: “Djokovic better than Fed??”

Kyrgios shared a screenshot of the exchange to his Instagram story, writing: “It doesn’t end,” with a facepalm emoji.

The Australian has a 2-0 win-loss record against Djokovic, but has won just one of seven matches against Federer.

While the 26-year-old did not share an answer in the screenshot, he has previously lauded the Swiss star for being the greatest player.
